Shohei is a member of the Natural Capital team and is based in Nairobi. He has previously worked with the Corporate Development team in Washington DC, and the East Africa Advisory team in Kampala. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Shohei worked at Lazard Asset Management in New York City as part of an international equity hedge fund strategy. He also worked in Nairobi at a venture capital impact investment firm, Novastar Ventures. Shohei graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he was part of the Huntsman Program. Shohei is fluent in Japanese and proficient in French.
