Anne Gakingo

Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi and is a Project Manager Professional with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Prior to joining CrossBoundary, she was the Asset Manager at Ariya Finergy, a leading solar EPC based in Nairobi. She oversaw an SPV asset portfolio of over 10MW and 4.5MWh of battery storage. She led her team in Technical asset management, Operations and Maintenance of the company’s assets,
and was responsible for analyzing the plants’ and teams’ KPIs. Anne also worked at Ofgen Africa as a Project Manager and O&M Manager, and built up the O&M department, creating a functional framework, complete with policies and guidelines.

Anne is a Senior Developer at CrossBoundary Energy and collaborates with specialized teams, such as business development, regulatory and legal, to de-risk and assess the techno-commercial viability of projects in the early stages. She takes projects through the development cycle, leveraging her technical and project management skills to develop customer-centric and compliant projects. She also oversees project implementation, managing contractor and vendor relations to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and timeline baselines, ensuring timeously built and quality projects.
