Anne Gakingo

Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi and is a Project Manager Professional with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Before joining CrossBoundary, she was the Asset Manager at Ariya Finergy, a leading solar EPC based in Nairobi. She oversaw an SPV asset portfolio of over 10MW, and 4.5MWh of battery storage. She led her team in technical asset management, operations, and maintenance of the company’s assets, and she was responsible for analyzing the plants’ and teams’ KPIs. As Asset Manager, she also worked with the legal team on O&M contract preparation and signature.

Prior to joining Ariya Finergy, Anne worked at Ofgen Africa as a Project Manager and O&M Manager, and built up the O&M department, creating a functional framework, complete with policies and guidelines.

Anne is a Senior Developer at CrossBoundary Energy and collaborates with specialized teams, such as business development, regulatory and legal, to de-risk and assess the techno-commercial viability of projects in the early stages. She takes projects through the development cycle, leveraging her technical and project management skills to develop customer- centric and compliant projects. She also oversees project implementation, managing contractor and vendor relations to ensure adhere to scope, budget and timeline baselines, ensuring timely built and quality projects.
