Anne Gakingo

Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi and is a Project Manager Professional with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Before joining CrossBoundary, she was the Asset Manager at Ariya Finergy, a leading solar EPC based in Nairobi. She oversaw an SPV asset portfolio of over 10MW, and 4.5MWh of battery storage. She led her team in Technical asset management, Operations and Maintenance of the company’s assets, and was responsible for analysing the plants’ and teams’ KPIs. As Asset Manager, she also worked with the legal team on O&M contract signings and renewals. Prior to joining Ariya Finergy, Anne worked at Ofgen Africa as a Project Manager and O&M Manager, and set up the O&M department in the company.

Anne is a Senior Project Engineer at CrossBoundary Energy and manages projects during the design, construction and commissioning phases, representing both the clients and CBE’s interests. She also ensures compliance with PPA and EPC contracts and collaborates with the regulatory team for the application and acquisition of project permits. She also oversees the commissioning of built projects.
