Chioma Ehimare is currently the Senior Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Officer at CrossBoundary Energy. She is an experienced professional with a master’s degree in Environmental Management, specializing in delivering exceptional support for environmental, social safeguards, and sustainability initiatives in Africa.

Throughout her impressive career, Chioma has cultivated her skills through roles in diverse institutions, such as projects financed by the World Bank, UN, and IFC, spanning across various industries, including renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, and education.

Her expertise includes creating comprehensive Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), Gender-based Violence (GBV/SEA) plans, and implementing internationally recognized best practice standards like the IFC Performance Standards. By tailoring policies, procedures, and plans to meet project-specific needs, she ensures seamless compliance and successful implementation within budget and timeline.
