Christy Sisko
Christy Sisko is the Chief Operating Officer at CrossBoundary Advisory, where she leads global operations, drives business development, and shapes the firm’s growth strategy across emerging and frontier markets. In her role, Christy oversees the operational backbone of the Advisory practice, ensuring excellence in execution, compliance, and strategic alignment across a diverse portfolio of blended finance programs and investment advisory mandates. She brings extensive global experience leading economic growth and investment programs across emerging markets in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eurasia, and Afghanistan.
Christy is currently responsible for managing and expanding client relationships with philanthropic institutions, development finance actors, and commercial partners, helping mobilize private capital into high-impact sectors such as renewable energy, financial inclusion, and SME development. Christy also spearheads strategic projects that enhance organizational performance, scale blended finance programming, and position CrossBoundary Advisory as a global leader in innovative finance solutions.
Christy brings more than a decade of experience from Chemonics International, where she served as Program Director for the Middle East and North Africa, managing complex donor-funded initiatives and leading high-impact proposal development. Her expertise spans program management, blended finance strategy, business development, and technical advisory for both philanthropic and commercial mandates.
She holds a Global Executive MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, with concentrations in finance, ESG, and leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in international business from The Catholic University of America. Christy currently serves as Board Co-Chair for the Women’s Impact Investing Network and Co-Chair of the Society for International Development–US Development Finance Work Group.
