David Maina

David is a Staffing & Recruiting Specialist on CrossBoundary Advisory’s Corporate Development team, supporting global staffing, recruitment, and talent operations across the firm’s advisory business.

Before joining CrossBoundary, David built his career at Delivery Associates, Dalberg Design, and the United Nations World Food Programme, where he partnered with multidisciplinary teams to deliver work across Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America. His experience spans global operations, workforce planning, recruitment, business development support, and project coordination, with a passion for creating systems that help people collaborate effectively and organizations scale sustainably.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from United States International University – Africa, majoring in Diplomacy & Foreign Policy and minoring in Psychology. He also served as Chairman of the Student Affairs Council, leading student representation and working alongside university leadership on governance, engagement, and institutional development.
