Ian Ndegwa

Ian Ndegwa is an Associate on the Natural Capital team, supporting companies, investors, and organizations scale capital into nature-based solutions in emerging markets by supporting capital raises and strategic engagements to catalyze private sector funding. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Ian worked at the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF), where he co-developed funding and product strategies resulting in a US$150 million funding pipeline and led knowledge dissemination for renewable energy portfolios across multiple African countries. At Open Capital, Ian facilitated investment for over 30 climate-smart businesses and supported various companies across renewable energy and agricultural sectors. His expertise spans market assessments, financial modeling, investor engagement, and strategic fund development.
