Madelyn Shikh-Salim

Madelyn is a Principal Environmental and Social Advisor with 14 years’ experience assessing and managing E&S risks and opportunities of investments in line with international standards, such as the IFC Performance Standards. Her experience is focused in emerging markets with diverse sector experience, including agriculture, manufacturing, energy & infrastructure, healthcare, telecoms, mining and real estate. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Madelyn worked for the UK’s Development Finance Institution (BII), as an ESG Executive and the Biodiversity Lead. Madelyn’s experience has largely been within deal teams for new investments, conducting E&S due diligence and developing and monitoring against E&S action plans. She also worked in consulting with Environmental Resources Management (ERM) for 7 years focused on financial clients (including commercial and development banks and PE firms) and project developers in emerging and developing markets.
