Ryan Sturgill

Ryan supports CrossBoundary’s work across the MENA region with a focus on technology and innovation. He also leads CrossBoundary’s Palestine office. From 2015-2021, he was executive director of Gaza Sky Geeks, a Google-backed tech hub, accelerator, and the first coding academy in Palestine. He has advised and evaluated businesses in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE, Jordan, and Iraq for Abraaj Capital and the US Development Finance Corporation. Previously, he worked in J.P. Morgan’s healthcare investment banking group in New York. Ryan holds a bachelor’s in Middle East studies from Georgetown, an MBA from MIT, and an MPA from the Harvard.
