Sonali Chauhan

Sonali Chauhan is an Associate Principal in CrossBoundary Advisory’s APAC practice, advising investors, development finance institutions, and governments on energy transition, blended finance, and investment strategy across emerging markets. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Sonali worked on market development at KOKO Networks, a carbon-financed renewable energy utility in East Africa. She has also worked with Lightrock, a growth equity fund in London, supporting investments in distributed energy and climate-focused businesses across Africa and Asia. Earlier, Sonali served as Chief of Staff to a Member of Parliament in India, advising on climate, foreign policy, and technology issues. Sonali holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
