Sunkyo “Sunny” Im leads the People team at CrossBoundary. With a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s in International Studies from the University of Chicago, Sunny brings diverse global experience to her role.

Her career spans a wide range of sectors and geographies. She has advised Ministries of Health on vaccine delivery with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, helped increase the uptake of chlorine to prevent waterborne illness with Innovations for Poverty Action, and scaled pay-as-you-go solar home systems across six sub-Saharan African countries with Fenix International (now Engie Energy Access Africa).

Throughout these experiences, Sunny recognized that exceptional talent strategy forms the foundation of high-performing teams. She now specializes in creating environments where outstanding professionals can thrive, applying her cross-sector insights to build thoughtful, effective organizational cultures.
