Surafel Kelemework

Surafel Kelemwork is a member of CrossBoundary Advisory’s East Africa Advisory team, based in Addis Ababa. Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Surafel brings more than 6 years of professional experience in the fields of strategic consulting and private equity. Before joining CrossBoundary, my role as an Associate at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change involved providing strategic and analytical support to the Ministry of Industry of Ethiopia and Ethiopia Investment Holding. This support was aimed at establishing an enabling policy framework and a favorable business environment to attract both domestic and foreign direct investment. In addition to his time at the Tony Blair Institute, Surafel also served as a Senior Analyst at Cerberus Frontier, a private equity firm based in Singapore. Furthermore, he contributed his expertise to Ethiopia’s quasi-public management consulting team at the Agricultural Transformation Agency.
