The Fund for Nature wins grant from SDG Impact Finance Initiative
The SDG Impact Finance Initiative, with support from Convergence Blended Finance, has awarded a grant to The Fund for Nature as part of the first seven winners of its financing window. The Initiative is funded by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, the Swiss Development Cooperation Agency SDC, the UBS Optimus Foundation, and the Credit Suisse Foundation.
The SDG Impact Finance Initiative, with support from Convergence Blended Finance, has awarded a grant to The Fund for Nature as part of the first seven winners of its financing window. The Initiative is funded by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, the Swiss Development Cooperation Agency SDC, the UBS Optimus Foundation, and the Credit Suisse Foundation.
The Fund for Nature seeks to finance projects in afforestation, reforestation, and revegetation (ARR) and reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) projects.
Alongside 6 other winners, The Fund for Nature’s impact finance design idea was selected from over 70 applications targeting one of four SDGs: SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and/or SDG 13 (Climate Action).
